For the more effective operation of the supermarket, the family business was transformed into a Limited Company in January 1990, CAC Papantoniou Ltd. Co-founders and shareholders were the brothers Charalambos, Antonis and Costas Papantoniou.
During the period 1987 - 1994 through successive extensions, the Chlorakas store became a big supermarket covering 2170 square meters.
By offering a wide selection of products, paying utmost attention at customers service and comfort, the company managed to significantly increase its turnover and establish reputation as one of the leading supermarkets in Paphos.
In December 1997 the company made a decisive step forward when Paphos store started operation. Situated in the center of Paphos, covering 6060 square meters and equipped with the latest technology, Paphos store set new standards in the field.
From the very first day of its operation, the Paphos store was embraced with confidence from the public.
Using contemporary management and marketing methods, investing heavily on staff training and always using the latest technologies, Papantoniou Supermarkets were established as the number one supermarkets in Paphos.
In December 1999 the Company's Board of Directors decided to transform the company into Public. Since June 2000, CAC Papantoniou is a member of Cyprus Stock Exchange.
Today, the Company continues its successful operation with plans to expand its activities in all major cities of Cyprus.
