Introduction
1.1 Organizer and purpose of the Program
The following terms and conditions, the "Terms" regulate the operation of the Papantoniou Supermarket loyalty Program, the "Supermarkets", the "Program", carried out through the Papantoniou Gift Card, Bonus Card, the "Card" of C.A.C. Papantoniou Trading Ltd, "the Company", with registration number H.E. 211975.
The aim of the Program is to reward Company's customers with special discounts and / or offers, as well as preferential information about new products, participation in special events and other privileges as discussed below.
The following Terms are read and enforced together with the Company's Privacy Policy which we encourage you to refer to.
1.2 Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
Before completing your application to join the Program we kindly request you to carefully read the following Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). By registering, the Supermarkets assume that you have read, understood, agreed and accepted the Terms, as applicable.
The Supermarkets assume that the use of the Card to receive and / or enjoy the benefits and rewards offered, constitute acceptance of these Terms. Cards that will remain idle for the period 1/09/2018 - 31/12/2019 will be deleted without any further notification.
1.3 Right of modification
The Company reserves the right to revise, modify, update, change the Terms and / or terminate the Program at any time. When any change occurs, we will do so after giving the appropriate notice to the Program members of any variation.
Right to Participate – Members’ registration procedure
2.1 Right of participate and registration procedure
All active and potential customers all over the Cyprus, who have reached the 16th year of their age at the date of registration.
The registration is done in a hard copy form and always the filling is conducted in the physical presence of the applicant, in the case of a legal person the physical presence of one of his officials of the organization is required. The electronic registration is performed by the user where during the registration process he declares his store of preference for receiving the Card. The receipt of the Card is always done with the presence of any official document such as identity card, passport etc. In the case of electronic registration of a legal entity we would like authorization from the directors regarding the receipt of the card as well as Director’s certificate.
A prerequisite of successful registration is to fill in all information in the required fields of the application form (name, surname, address, city, post code, gender, country of permanent residency, language, mobile phone and/or email address, signature, application date) give your consent for the processing of your personal data and acceptance of the Terms set out below.
In the case of incomplete forms, the Supermarkets reserve the right to request for full filling the missing information from the applicant. If the applicant refuses to complete the form properly, the registration process should be completed and the card would be cancelled.
2.2 The Card
Upon the completion of registration, a Card with the Company's signs is issued in the name of the applicant. The Card is issued in the name of the applicant but remains a property of the Company.
Only one card corresponds to any natural or legal person, in the case of sole trader business the business card is issued to the business name. In the event that the Supermarkets, become aware that the members of the Program are in possession of more than one Card, the Company reserves the right to immediately cancel one or all of them at its absolute discretion.
The Card, the points earned and vouchers are strictly personal, not transferred, not transferrable or shared with third parties as well as sold in any way.

2.3 Validation and update of information
The Company does not conduct any identification checks during registration. The applicant officially declares and commits by himself that that the information provided is complete, true and accurate, without using information, such as a mobile phone or an e-mail address, belonging to another person. In the event of submission of false information, the applicant is liable to the Company for any damages suffered by him whatsoever.
It is members’ responsibility to inform the Company for any changes that may occurred in their details when they are first provided with their card, or from the last update during the exchange of the points earned procedure or by sending an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. The Company reserves the right without any restriction or comptonization of its right to request from any member at any time to verify / update the information that exists in its systems.
In such case, where a member refuses to verify / update his information, the application should be considered as incomplete and the procedure detailed above is in force.
Rewards and Benefits to the Program’s member
3.1 Rewards and Benefits
Each Cardholder enjoys the benefits as defined by the Company’s commercial and marketing policy as a reward for usage of the Card.
Each member with his purchases from the Supermarkets accrues points, each point corresponds to each completed shopping euro. Upon completion of every 1,100 points, the right to receive a ten (€ 10) gift voucher is acquired. The information regarding the points accrued and the issuance of the gift voucher is conducted at the reception department of every Supermarket.
Moreover, at the end of each purchase receipt made using the Card, the points accrued, the points earned by the current transaction as well as the new balance of the points accrued are indicated.
3.2 Additional Benefits and rewards
Cardholders may be also entitled to further rewards and benefits based on the Company’s commercial and marketing policy such as extra discount on specific products, special offers, additional points by purchasing including, but not limited to, discounts on specific products, special offers, additional points with the purchase of specific products that are offered for a certain time etc.
Cardholders are informed pertaining the above named additional benefits and rewards and the duration of their validity through our brochures, in our stores, our website, our ads and postings on various media even with emails or short text messages (SMS).
In addition, by joining the Loyalty Program, you are eligible contestants for the draws, various promotions organized by the Company either alone or in cooperation with third parties.
3.3 Special benefits
- Reward program for members operating catering businesses
The members of the Program falling within the above category may have some additional privileges, enjoying a 10% discount on the products of Oven, Meat and Fruit products, excluding products already on offer.
A prerequisite for a member to join this category is by his registration to provide evidence that he is carrying out business engaged in the catering industry that is qualified to be a member of this scheme such as a license, health certificate or price list of the company approved by the CTO.
The Card, irrespective of the legal status of the business, must necessarily be issued on the name of the recipient Enterprise and be separate from that of the owner
The Company reserves the right at any time to renew or modify and / or remove any additional benefits by a simple notification to the members concerned without any further notice to the members. In such occasion where the Supermarkets realise that the Program members are in possession of more than one Card, or whether they are abusing the additional privileges, and also that the Supermarkets retain the right to request a renewed proof of doing business. In cases of misuse of the Card, the Company reserves the right to immediately cancel one or all of the Cards at its absolute discretion and to claim recovery of the damage suffered - Reward program for large families
The members of the program who are eligible to enjoy the additional benefits of this scheme are all large families holding a membership card issued by the Pancyprian Organization of Large Families (POLF). Members of this program have the privilege to collect double points with every purchase and without restrictions.
A prerequisite for a member to join this category is by registration to provide a copy of the POLF membership card which, once confirmed by the department in charge of Papantoniou, will scout the children's details in such a way that their Personal Data cannot be retrieved.
The Company reserves the right to undertake any amendment, modification of the additional benefits by simply sending a simple notification to the interested members. - Reward program for students
The members of the Program falling within the above category may have some additional privileges, enjoying a 10% discount on the Rotisserie meals, Bakery snacks, and all Cafeteria coffee drinks.
The members eligible to join this Program are all students enrolled in a university institution within the Republic of Cyprus and holding a valid students’ card.A prerequisite for a member to join this category is by registration to provide a copy of the valid students’ card that must be confirmed by the department in charge of Papantoniou. The membership to this specific program is only 12 months duration from registration and to continue participating must present updated students’ card before the end of the 12 months period. In case that a member ends being a student before the duration of 12 months or the membership is used by a person who is not a student, the Company reserves the right to terminate the additional privileges.
3.3 Privilege program for the parents of our little friends "Baby Club"
The registered members of the Program will enjoy discounts on selected products of our Supermarkets that are addressed to the age group of each registered child as well as additional benefits that will be decided from time to time.
All members of the Loyalty Program who are parents of a minor child aged between 0 to 3 years have the right to register. Children who have reached the age of 3 have lost the right of registration.
A prerequisite condition for a member to join this category is to fill the first name, personal registration / identity number and date of birth of the child. In addition, each child must be registered only one time and cannot be registered by more than one parent / guardian.
Participation in this program lasts until the completion of the 3rd year of the child's age. Promotions may continue to apply as long as the child is still enrolled in the program, mutating according to the child's age group. Upon completion of the above age limit, the ID number will be deleted.

The Company reserves the right to renew, modify the additional benefits at any time by simply informing the interested members.
3.4 Issuing and Redemption of Gift Vouchers
The voucher is always issued on the basis of the Card number and is deliverable to the Cardholder, who signs the relevant document. Members should bring with them any official document, when asked to issue their gift voucher, in order to be able to verify their ID.
You can use gift vouchers by buying products of equal or greater value and under not any circumstances they are exchangeable with money.
Other Terms and Conditions
4.1 The Supermarkets may revoke and terminate the Program and cancel the Cards with prior notification to the members by any appropriate means, as this Program is a voluntary supply of the Supermarkets.
4.2 These promotional actions (contests, drawings, etc.) referred to in the paragraph 3.2 ‘’additional benefits’’ are governed by the specific terms and conditions applicable to the particular promotional action and are published on our website or communicated / announced by any means deemed by the Company that serves better the purpose of each promotional action and are binding for all parties involved (Company, participants and third party). Supermarkets do not accept or bear any responsibility for third party competitions in which the prizes are gift vouchers or products of the Company.
4.2 The Company may cancel Customers’ Card in the case that there is an evidence of misuse of these in order for the owner to abuse the Program Terms by providing a greater profit or benefits for themselves than other customers.
4.3 The Company assumes no liability to the customers in the case of cancellation or revocation of the program to pay any kind of compensation, direct or indirect, current and / or future.
4.4 Cards that have not been used for any transaction for more than three (3) years will be deactivated and will be void and any points accrued will be immediately zero. In this case your personal data will be deleted by the Company. After the deactivation of the card, and for a limited period of time, the Identification Number will be kept in a separate database together with the number of points of the card, for purposes of future identification and safeguarding the interests of our customers.
4.5 The approval and registration of each application will be completed within thirty (30) days. Customer’s data is available for any processing after registration of the application.
4.6 Each member may request cancellation of the card and / or the issue of a new card addressed to the Service Departments operating within our Supermarkets. In case of cancellation, the card's personal data is deleted within thirty (30) days.
4.7 Each member of the Program should be informed via the Supermarket Website for applicable Terms or Customer’s department service operating in all Supermarkets.
4.8 The Company reserves the right to modify any of the Terms mentioned above with a relevant announcement on the Company's website at www.papantoniou.com.cy and/or by any other reasonable means at its reasonable discretion. The Company does not accept any liability in case a member fails to be informed about the changes that have occurred and have been publicly disclosed as described above.
4.9 The above terms apply and are interpreted in accordance with the applicable national law. All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Republic of Cyprus.
